The Predictors of Mother Abuse in Male Students: Domestic Violence, Marital Conflict, Family Coherence, Parenting Styles, and Self-esteem

Background: Domestic violence, including child abuse, spousal elder and parent is a common issue in the modern world. Parent abuse one of phenomena that has been focus attention recent decades due to its negative effects on family system. Objectives: This study aimed investigate predictors boy students. Methods: present was correlational study. The statistical population all second-grade high school students their mothers Kuhdasht-Iran 2020. In this regard, 380 were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. Instruments scale (boy version), exposure domestic violence (CEDV), marital conflict, parenting style inventory (PSI), Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, Samani Family Cohesion Questionnaire. completed instruments. data analyzed with Pearson correlation regression.
